ETCM - Hospital (1910), School (1912) & College of Nursing (2004) is named in Memory of ELLEN THOBURN who had been very active in promoting missionary work and a bulwark of strength to Methodist Church in India. The ETCM School & College of Nursing is an educational institution of the members of the Women's Division of the Methodist Church in India financed by the devoted Christian Women of the United States, who are the members of the Women's Division of the Methodist Church in USA.
Students come to us from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharastra, & Gujarat State.
Majority of our graduates of this institute are serving positions of responsibility all over India, Middle East, Canada, European countries, Malaysia and USA.
The School & College:
The School & College is in Kolar, a district, situated on the Bangalore Chennai Highway road and one & half hour drive from Bangalore, the Garden City of India. The campus is easily accessible and at the same time secluded enough to provide a distraction free environment. The nearest railway station is Chennai - Bangalore line at Bangarapet about 15kms away.
